Retinol Skin Brightener is a high-potency treatment. If you are new to retinol, begin gradually.

After cleansing, apply to clean, dry skin twice a week.
Increase application to alternate days, then gradually move to daily use as tolerated.

Redness, flakiness, dryness, burning, or stinging are common initial reactions when starting retinol. With consistent use, your skin will acclimate, leading to a smoother, more even-toned, and youthful-looking complexion. To minimize these reactions, pair your retinol with a ZO® functional hydrator. For a personalized retinol regimen, consult with a physician. As with prescription retinoic acid, retinol increases sun sensitivity, so be sure to apply SPF 30 or higher daily.
