Retinol Skin Brightener is a high-potency retinol treatment. If you are new to retinol, start using it gradually.

After cleansing, apply to clean, dry skin twice a week.
Increase frequency to every other day.
Gradually increase to daily use as your skin builds tolerance.

It is normal to experience redness, flakiness, dryness, burning, or stinging when starting retinol. These reactions typically subside as your skin adjusts, resulting in a smoother, more even-toned, and youthful complexion. To minimize these effects, pair your retinol with a ZO® functional hydrator. For a personalized retinol regimen, consult with a physician. Like prescription retinoic acid, retinol can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun, so daily use of SPF 30 or higher is essential.

Protocol

A 12-week independent third-party clinical study of 46 participants to assess the efficacy potential of Retinol Skin Brightener. Participants represent females, ages 40-64, with Fitzpatrick skin types II-IV. Supported with the use of Gentle Cleanser, Sunscreen + Primer Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 and Hydrating Crème during the study.
